Swajan Banker’s Community Padra
Clients Brief :-
The primary objective was to create a nurturing environment where seniors can live independently
and with dignity. The residences were to be equipped with essential amenities, including household
assistance, financial and banking support, and on-site medical services, all integrated within a
serene, nature-rich setting.
Concept Note :-
Swajan embodies the integration of medical services with a tranquil, natural environment, moving
away from traditional hospital settings. The design focuses on sustainable architecture, utilizing eco-
friendly materials to craft energy-efficient homes. Features such as solar power and electric vehicle
amenities are incorporated to promote an eco-conscious lifestyle.
Design Process :-
The design process prioritized the specific needs of senior residents, ensuring comfort, accessibility,
and luxury. Each residence is fully furnished, featuring cross-ventilated planning, anti-skid tiles,
wheelchair-enabled toilets, dedicated lifts, and emergency call systems. The inclusion of home
automation and climate control systems further enhances the living experience.

3. Incorporating eco-friendly and sustainable practices to align with modern design
sensibilities.
4. Designing multi-unit housing that promotes social interaction while ensuring privacy.

The Swajan Bankers Community was conceived as a progressive multi-unit housing project
that redefines senior living. The focus was on blending architecture, interior design, and
landscape elements to foster independence, dignity, and a sense of belonging among
residents.

Sustainability: Use of rammed earth, energy-efficient materials, solar energy
systems, and rainwater harvesting.
Accessibility: All units were planned with wheelchair access, anti-skid flooring, grab
rails, and emergency call systems.
Community Living: Common spaces such as a library, yoga room, and community hall
encourage interaction.
Holistic Well-Being: The inclusion of open landscapes, gardens, and meditation zones
enhances mental and physical wellness.
Design Process :-
1. Research & Planning: Extensive consultations with geriatric experts and stakeholders to address the
specific needs of senior citizens.
Site analysis to maximize natural ventilation, light, and landscape integration.
2. Architecture:
Zoning: The master plan separates private residential units from public amenities
