This 1100 sq. ft office in Vadodara is designed as a green, climate-responsive workspace. Located on the top floor of a glazed commercial building with a south-west façade, the design addresses high solar heat gain through extensive use of green screens and indoor plant walls. Over 1100 plants are integrated throughout the workspace to reduce heat, filter sunlight, and create a calming indoor landscape. The design language reflects the firm’s work with quarry stones. Natural materials such as stone walls, wood textures, and raw finishes create a strong visual identity. Open planning with low partitions encourages transparency and collaboration among staff while maintaining spatial openness. Green walls are strategically placed across the office to soften the rigid character of stone surfaces while improving thermal comfort. The reception area highlights stone as a key material, communicating the nature of the firm’s work to visitors at first glance. Overall, the project balances sustainability, natural materials, and spatial efficiency to create a workspace that is both environmentally responsive and strongly connected to the firm's identity.
