Doshi Tech Corporate Office, designed by Architect Dharam Patel of Art & Architecture Associates, received a nomination at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2024 held in Singapore. The World Architecture Festival is one of the most prestigious global platforms celebrating outstanding architecture and design projects from around the world. Located in the industrial area of Makarpura GIDC in Vadodara, the office demonstrates how a compact workspace can be transformed into a dynamic and inspiring corporate environment. Designed within a footprint of less than 3000 sq. ft., the project focuses on efficient planning, strong spatial identity, and functional clarity. The design approach emphasizes simplicity, transparency, and collaboration, creating an open workplace environment that encourages communication between team members while maintaining clearly defined functional zones. The interior layout integrates reception areas, workstations, meeting spaces, and management cabins into a cohesive spatial flow. Material selection reflects the industrial nature of the client’s business, combining durable finishes, minimal detailing, and a contemporary aesthetic that aligns with the technological identity of the company. Carefully designed lighting, furniture layouts, and spatial proportions create a balanced workplace environment that enhances productivity and comfort. Despite its modest scale, the project incorporates thoughtful design strategies such as efficient circulation, optimized natural light, and flexible workspace planning, demonstrating how compact offices can deliver high-quality spatial experiences.
